The themes to be stressed, or the stories to be included, in this website are decided by the Thai WACs working team on the basis that they will be useful to foreigners. They are categorized as follows: government and politics, military and security, economy, society, foreign relations, reference and other interesting subjects. This website differs from other conventional information networks on Thailand in that in each category the presentations are concentrated on facts, changes, cooperation, and conflicts as they are. Backgrounds and analyses may be provided. An attempt will be made to balance, in terms of coverage, between the cooperative phenomena and the conflictual matters. An attempt will also be made to avoid taking sides in partisan matters. Expectations or aspirations on the part of the Thai WAC are modest, nothing more than contributing to the social knowledges of the reader so that he/she can use them constructively to improve the quality of life of human beings or to promote world peace.
